Where did you find this? I am always extremely suspicious of claims that a certain name means something as a "Native American" name. It seems to me that if the source really knew what they were talking about in regard to the meaning, they would know which of the hundreds of Native American cultures and languages the name was from. There is no such thing as a "general" Native American language or culture any more than there is a general European, Asian, or African language or culture.
