I've been thinking about Kathy but mostly as a nickname for Kathleen. I think that might work well.
I like Sarah, Amy and Nancy is nice too. I knew a red haired girl named Nancy once.
April is a lovely suggestion too, in fact my dad has a cousin with dark red hair named April and her sister Bethany has brighter curly red hair.
Joanna is pretty, I might have to add that to my list! :)
