Adlai
What do you think of it?

It struck me as feminine. I was surprised to find it was masculine.
It's too similar to feminine names of the same sound. I also don't particularly care for Biblical names.

We just had a thread on it:

I love Adlai and Adelai. This name use to be in my top 10 for a while but now it's around my top 30.
I pronounce Adlai ad-lay and Adelai ad-eh-lay. I like how retro, unusual and intelligent it sounds. I always picture a scientist with horn-rimmed glasses and neatly styled short hair, dressed like someone from the early to mid 20th century with a lab coat over his clothing. Adlai and Adelai is old fashioned nerd sexy.

I asked the same question recently. It's growing on me and seems woefully neglected. I am not sure whether it would be pronounced ad-lay like Adlai Stephenson or ad-lie as in Sinai...
