Genesis?
I found Genesis. I like it so what are your thoughts?

I don't mind it at all. Genny of Nessie would be cute nicknames. Yup, it could defintely work.
The Sega Gensis!
ah the memories.
I dislike it, on a number of different levels. I generally don't love (stranger) Biblical names, or names that immediately bring the Bible to my mind. Genesis does this. The sound just doesn't do anything for me either.
You found Genesis? Where was she hiding?
(Sorry, couldn't resist XD)
But really, I kind of like Genesis. I would never use it because it does immediately bring to mind the Bible. So it's too heavily associated with that for me to consider it.
It's similar to Mercedes in that way, which I actually really love and wish the car association wasn't so strong.

Book of... that's all that enters my mind.
I actually don't mind it. I like it best for a girl I think.
I like it a lot as the first book of the Bible but not so much as a name. It just doesn't have a sound or feel that appeals to me.
It's a book in the Bible. I don't know why but for some reason that bothers me. I don't like it. It sounds almost low-brow.
Well, the first person I think of is the blonde lesbian from the Boston season of "The Real World". That was her name.
It's okay, I guess. I don't have any strong feelings about it one way or the other.

I like it, but prefer the spelling Jenesis. I once talked to a woman named Jenesis. I think that the Jenesis spelling makes it more of a personal name.
Genesis is the name of our local nursing home/rehab facility.
Also, anytime I hear it used as a name I can't get "Invisible Touch" out of my head.
