It's too bad it became primarily a girl's name. Brook seems like such a nice name for a man.

I knew a very nice girl growning up named Brooke, and she had a sister Paige. Of course I also think of Brooke Shields. I like it but I do think it sounds good as a mn in many cases.

Brooke sounds very American to me, but I like it. It's pretty but it has strength to it as well. I think it might be too American-sounding for me to use though.Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I like it, but it's popular and sort of abrupt and cold. I guess I'd consider it a guilty pleasure. I prefer it as a middle name, anyway. Also, it's trendy and popular now.

I agreeIt's sadly considered a preppy snobby throwback from the 80's. It's the only name from the late 70's 80's I really like.
