I think it's pretty no matter how it's pronounced.

My initial response is to pronounce it ə-LAH-nə.

Uh-LAH-nuh is how we say it in Australia.

uh-LAH-nuh, and I like it better than uh-LAN-uh

I went to school with an Alana pronounced with vowels like English cabana (like Copacabana) ... so that's how I say it.

I would pronounce it ah-LAH-na, but I pronounce Alanna and Alannah ah-LAN-ah

I pronounce it so that the second syllable would rhyme with "can."

I know a few (one is a baby) and it's pronounced 'AH-lah-nah' here.
