Phoebe
Thanks to one of my friends, I have started watching the series, Charmed, and one of the main characters is named Phoebe. I used to not care for this name, but ever since I've started watching Charmed, the name has been growing on me.
What do you think of this name? Do you like it or hate it?
:)

I love it .
Really hate it, sorry
I have a niece named Phoebe, and as psyched as I was about her name for the first year or so, I have to admit I've come to see it as one of those names that I like more on paper than in actual use. I'm just not crazy about the sound of it anymore.
A few years ago I found it in my genealogy, where it really stands out among all the generations repeating a handful of predictable names.
I thought it sounded silly and eccentric, but since then I've come to appreciate it for its classic and literary roots, and I think that in mn spot it enlivens many a first name with its cutely quirky feel.

I've never liked the sound or look of Phoebe. I do know a gorgeous little girl by this name, so I might warm up to it. :)
Don't hate it; don't like it much because of the high risk it would morph into Feeble.
I had a Phoebe colleague once: tough lady! Nothing feeble about her. But not everyone could carry it off.

I really, really don't like Phoebe. It just sounds so clownish and stumbling. Silly, I think is what I'm looking for. it sounds silly.
Hate it. FEE-BEE.
I think Phoebe is a very nice name. It's cute and it has character and it's not too common, either.
So yes, I like it.

It was one of the most popular names on BTN this month.
I don't really care for it at all.

I love it, but I hate Charmed. I love the meaning and the look of it. It definitely looks better than it sounds but I like the sound as well. I also like Phebe, a spelling used by Shakespeare. Phoebe on Friends is the first one I think of followed by Holden's sister in Catcher in the Rye. I think her full name was Phoebe Beatrice. I definitely think of someone with red hair when I hear it even though the Phoebe on Friends is blonde.
