Mirabelle / Mirabella ...
WDYT of Mirabelle and Mirabella?
I would be more inclined to use Mirabelle for two reasons.Reason One : because my grandmother's name is Belle and my favorite name is Mira and it combines the two.Reason Two: My niece's name is Ella and the end part of Mirabella may cause confusion in my family.
I do love the sound of Mirabella though, and while I'll probably end up just using Mira one day, I love Mirabelle and love the fact that when combined with Ruth it would honor both of my grandmother's, my mother and myself : )

I prefer Mirabelle. It's not a huge favorite, as I'm not a a big fan of "belle" names in general. But most -bella names are much too frilly for me. I like the way Mirabelle Ruth sounds, also, and it would avoid the Ella problem, too. :)

I love Mirabelle. What with the recent overuse of Isabelle and Annabel, I'm surprised Mirabelle has not been taken up. But I hope it stays that way :-)Mirabella is lovely in theory, but very long in practice._____________________________________________________________________Elinor

I love the combo Mirabella Ruth. I don't think that ella on the would be confusing w/ Ella your niece. b/c it's the ending of the name. I see Bella not ella anyway.

I love those names but in your case it may be wise to use Mirabelle
