Quinn for a girl...?
I really want to use Quinn for my little girl, but not as a first name. Last name will end in -son, so I'm looking to avoid something like "Ann Quinn -son". Any ideas on a good first name to be paired with Quinn? Suggestions greatly appreciated.

I love Quinn for a girl, and my main association with a girl Quinn is from the show, Zoey 101, and Quinn was my favorite character! Maybe:Lola Quinn
Victoria Quinn
Matea Quinn
Nicolette Quinn
Makayla Quinn
Samantha Quinn
Melanie Quinn
Arianna Quinn
Natalia Quinn
Natalie Quinn
Natasha Quinn
Jessica Quinn
Adrianna Quinn

Haha, I've only ever seen Quinn as a girl's name, I can barely imagine it on a guy. Unfortunately, I have bad associations with it.... ever see an episode of the TV show Daria? or Glee?

I've never heard of Daria, and never watched Glee. Perhaps these shows are the reason why the name Quinn has become more popular over the past few years.

Possibly Glee, probably not Daria - it was popular in the 90s, I think.

YayI love, love, love, love the name Quinn for a girl! When I was 6 and started writing, one of my first characters was an awesome chick named Quinn. When I got older and learned it was a traditional male name I couldn't wrap my head around it. Quinn is feminine. Spunky. Sassy. Pretty. Nyx's Lydia Quinn is gorgeous. Absolutely stunning. Lydia is so dark, curly, and quiet. It pairs nicely with Quinn, which I see as more upbeat and youthful.

What about Alexis Quinn? Alexis would give her the option of Alexis, Alex, Lexi, Ali, etc. Quinn is cute, but I always thought it was a boys name... Hope this helps!

I prefer it for a boy. As a middle name for a girl, I kinda want to pair with a really girly first name like...Susannah Quinn
Lydia Quinn < -- Really like this one, actually.

Great suggestions! They all work really well. It is highly unusual, because I'm not a fan of boy names on girls, but I have a crush on Quinn.Love:
Susannah Quinn
Lydia Quinn ( and I don't even like Lydia normally)

Thanks! I don't usually like boy names on girls either, but now I am really quite fond of Lydia Quinn.

I was also planning to pair it with something really girly, just because it is a common name for boys. Lydia Quinn is beautiful - and definitely not popular - and so is Ava Quinn. Thank you!
