I like Sonia too! But my favourite spelling is Sonya.
I like Sonia and Sonya. I feel that Sonja would be too difficult for people to pronounce where I live. There's a little toddler named Sonya at the daycare I work at and it works quite well on a girl today, I think. I would consider it for my own child but it probably wouldn't make my short list.
I like it, I think it is cute and sweet! I like the Sonya spelling bettest!
Was Sonia popular in the 1970's? I never knew that. Perhaps it was influenced by the actress Sonia Braga. Anyway, I'm glad because I've always thought it was an underappreciated gem. :-)

It's not my style. I don't like the sound of it. If I had to choose a spelling, I'd go with Sonia.
