The only time I encountered Westley was in a book about the serial child-killer Westley Dodd. Not a good association at all, but maybe a lot of people don't know about him?
I think I know one Wesley, or at least a Wes. He's probably fifty. For all I know Wesley isn't his name.
Ha, just remembered: a few years ago our local TV station had this goofy weather guy who was always talking about "westly winds" because he couldn't or wouldn't pronounce westerly right.
I'd just go with Wesley. Westley, I think, would sound the same, and West as a first name is tryndee and dumb.
