Finnegan
What do you think of Finnegan, nn Finn? I also like Finn on its own but I love Finnegan so this way I could use them both.Do you prefer Finnegan or Finneus?
Finnegan or Phineas?
Finnegan or Phinnaeus?Which spelling of Phineas do you prefer?Or do you like Finley or Finlay better?

I love Finn, Phineas and Finlay ("-lee"). That leaves no room in my heart for the others. :-PP.S. If I'm allowed to stray from the list I must give a shout out for Fingal, Fintan and Finbarr as well.

I like Finnegan. I like Finn, a lot. :)I prefer Finnegan to Phineas (and I prefer this spelling!), and I prefer Finley.

I love Finnegan. It's my favourite full name for Finn, except for Fionnbharr, but that's not practical. I like Phineas too (this spelling) but not as much as Finnegan if you're going to use Finn. I think I like Finley better than Finlay. If you're going to use an Anglicized version might as well make it as straightforward as possible.

Fionnbharr! Even better than Finbarr. :-)

I like Finnegan alright, it's a little bit to sing-songy for me though, every time I say it I think it in the rhythm of the song Michael Finnegan http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Finnegan_(song). I really like Finn as well. I do like Finlay better just because i don't get a song stuck in my head when I say it. I don't really like Phineas with any spelling atm.

I don't mind Finnegan "Finn" at all actually. I do prefer it to any of the other options. Finley (this spelling) is also nice and for me, it would depend on the overall combo, as to whether I'd be more partial to Finley or Finnegan.

I love Finn. I quite like Finnegan too, and I'm normally not into surnamey names.I prefer Finnegan to Finneus, Phineas (slightly) to Finnegan, and Finnegan to Phinnaeus (or Phinneas).I love the Phineas spelling. I think the others look a bit silly.I don't really like either Finley or Finlay.I think I prefer straight-up Finn. It can totally stand on its own.I am also partial to Finbar! I think Finbar is my favourite full name for Finn / Fin.

Finnegan begin againMy mom used to say that when we had to do something over again, so Finnegan seems warmer to me and more famiiar than the other names. I prefer Finley over Finlay.

There once was a man named Michael Finnegan,
He grew whiskers on his chinnegan,
The wind came up and blew them in ag'in,
Poor old Michael Finnegan (begin ag'in!)

That's my favorite verse :)Because it's like the only one I remember. Oh, and the one where he climbed a tree and barked his shin again, tore off several yards of skin again, poor old Michael Finnegan! :)
