Nessarose
While I was in New York I saw Wicked on Broadway and Nessarose was the name of the wicked witch of the east. I thought it was really pretty and creative without going overboard. WDYT?

I can see the appeal to it. It is a pretty, sweet name, but it is highly linked to Wicked. It might be a fun nickname if your daughter was named Vanessa Rose, or as Ludwig stated, it would be better as a middle name.

Ness, Nessy and Nessa always make me think of the loch ness monster. Sorry, it just does.

It's really tied to wicked...
It's pretty but I think it's over the top. Could be a fun middle name as a Wicked tribute, but not on its own.I'm writing a fake Mozart opera and I named the fancy FMC Nellarosa, based on this name, but I also was deliberately over the top about it.Congrats about wicked on broadway, I bet that was totally awesome. if you like wicked. which i'm guessing you do.
(i don't, is why I specify)

I thought of Wicked right away.Other than that: It's really too cutesy for me, and I'm not a fan of squished names.

Same here.I immediately associated it with the character. Pretty name... but not the best character to name a kid after.

I like Nessa and I like Rose, but I don't like them much together, especially without a space in the middle.
