Anastasia / Evangeline?
WDYT?

I love Anastasia as ah-nah-stas-ee-uh, but NEVER as ann-a-stay-zha. Not that it's horrible, it's actually rather nice, it just bothers me because of the Disney film and um, reasons. Evangeline is lovely, and I like Eva as a nickname.
I like both, but I prefer Anastasia. It sounds regal without being too over the top.
Both are very feminine and sophisticated sounding, but I don't find them overly frilly.

Anastasia
Besides the obvious "evangelical" references everyone else has stated, Anastasia is just a stronger name over all. It has that princess-feel without being frilly like Antoinette or Arabella. While Evangeline is fine, it just doesn't have the same presence.
I went to high school with an Anastasia nn Annie.

I like Anastasia a lot better. Evangeline reminds me of evangelical and it's so prissy sounding.
Anastasia.
My daughter made friends with an Anastasia at the pumpkin patch.
Evangeline reminds me too much of evangelism.

I like them both.
These are both awesome names! I reckon my choice would have to be Evangline though.
Very difficult choice. I love both.
Evangeline.
