Michele or Michelle?
Which would you use? I know it doesn't really make much of a difference but...

I prefer Michelle. It looks more balanced. Michèle looks better to me than Michele does. Michele looks slightly off kilter.
I would always use Michelle for a female going for the Mish-ell prn. When I see Michele, I read it as Mik-el-ee like the Italian pronunciation for the masculine name.
Michelle.
Michele is my middle name and my aunt's name, so I guess I'm a little partial to it. :P I doubt I'll ever use it, but if I did that's the spelling I'd use.
Though I did throw a huge fit when I was a kid and I found out it wasn't spelled with two Ls, lol. But I'm over that now.

Michelle, hands-down
It shouldn't make a difference, but it does, it makes a big difference. Michele just looks off.

I like Michelle better. The other spelling always makes me want to say "mi-SHEEL" and the l just looks a bit lonely.
I think it looks better w/ 2 Ls.
I'm indifferent between Michelle and Michèle. But I dislike Michele, it's an Italian boys name to me. It really needs the accent to be a French girls name. If it's between Michelle and Michele without the accent I prefer Michelle. It's really dated and boring though.
I prefer Michelle. Michele looks a little naked to me, and more like it would be a French male name.
