I lean towards Tabitha, but they're both nice.

I love Tabitha! It's so quirky and whimsical, but still "normal" enough to be taken seriously when necessary. If I were to rate it, I'd say it's about an 8.Talia does nothing for me. It's very ho-hum in my book. I'd give it a 5.

Tabitha is quirky and interesting, and pretty, in my opinion. It is much more interesting to me than Talia.

I love Tabitha. It is so charming and quirky. I like it much better than Talia- Talia is quite common here in Australia (spelt Tahlia usually) and it has always sounded vapid and pretentious to me.

Tabitha makes me think of witches or their cats and every Tabitha I know has been horrid so I have bad associations with the name. I much prefer Talia. Talia sounds like a fun and colorful person.

Ooh, Tabitha is lovely, I much prefer it over Talia. :)

I love them both! I have liked Tabitha since high school (12 years ago) and I enjoy Talia as a nickname for Natalia, which is one of my top three girl's names. I've met a number of Talia's in the last couple years, so I would cast my vote for Tabitha. Plus I don't like that some people pronounce it TAHL-ee-uh and some tuh-LEE-uh. Anyhow, both are nice, so you can't go wrong.

Prefer Tabitha, it's growing on me. Used to feel it was a cat's name, but now I can see the appeal.

No, I don't like Tabitha. Not at all. I find it very unattractive both look- and soundwise. Talia is much nicer.

I adore Tabitha. It's so charming and it's underused. It's much better than Talia. I hope you have a girl and name her Tabitha.

Yeah and I like it better than Talia. There are just too many spellings and pronunciations for Talia. Tabitha used to be a favorite. It doesn't excite me anymore but it's pretty and underused. I like Tabby too. It makes me think of friendly witches.

I've come to love the name Tabitha. I used to not like it because of the "Bewitched" connection. But then I saw a dramatization of the Bronte sisters; their housekeeper / cook was named Tabitha and I fell in love with it. There aren't many T names so I was happy to add Tabitha to my "like/love" list. It's very refreshing. My stock combos:Tabitha Jane
Tabitha Scout
Tabitha Lily
Tabitha Sparrow
Tabitha LivI wish I could say the same for Talia. But Talia always feels pretentious to me. I love Natalia so this makes no rational sense, I admit. I wouldn't mind Talia as a nn for Natalia as much as Talia on its own. But if I met a Talia in real life I'd still give her parents credit for using a classic name that isn't spelled oddly. It's just not a personal favorite of mine.

No, I don't.
Sadly Tabitha is one of those name I've never liked and I don't think I ever will. I just don't find it pretty or attractive, neither how it looks or how it sounds. But Talia, oh Talia. I love her. And I love Thalia too.

re: Tabitha?I don't really like either one, but at least everybody agrees on how to pronounce Tabitha. It's a cat's name to me.

Oh I very much like Tabitha. It's so cats-and-witches cute! two of my favourite things. I like it much more than Talia. If it was Thalia vs Tabitha is would be trickier, but Tabitha wins over Talia no problem for me.
