Actress Beth Littleford just adopted daughter, Halcyon "Hallie" Juna. Big brother Jackson (6) chose the middle name. I'm not a fan of Halcyon or Hallie but Juna is kind of cute

I still haven't figured out how Halcyon is pronounced. I met a woman with this name once, a customer at a former job, and I think she said HAL-see-un. This was 6-8 years ago, so I'm not sure. If that's the correct pronunciation, I don't like it at all.Juna seems like it's trying too hard to be quirky and cool. Juno gives me the same hipsterish vibe, even though I'm well aware of its origins (Is it because of that movie a few years back? I never saw it). I much prefer June.

Nice. :-)Beth's name is Elizabeth Anna Halcyon Littleford, BTW.

I kind of feel the exact reverse of you, I'd have prefered to hear June or Juno in the middle name slight. Halcyon isn't my style, but I like the idea of using a less common name. I don't mind Hallie one bit, it's kind of cute, actually.

I really like Halcyon! Juna's interesting. I can't stop thinking of tuna in association with it, but it's cool. I wonder if Jackson made it up himself?

Halcyon is just kind of meh. I'd rather see it on a boy, but whatever. Juna is a super fun middle name!
