Re: Victoria and Tabitha

Victoria really grew on me the past few months. I think it's really nice and strikes a good balance- it's familiar, but I don't meet very many. I generally dislike the nicknames for it, and that's what holds me back from falling totally in love with it. I suppose Tori is okay, but none of the others.
I love Tabitha. I think it's quirky without being too over-the-top, and I've never met one. Again, nicknames are an issue for me with this name. I don't care for Tibby and Tabby. Someone once suggested Beth to me, and I suppose it could work at a stretch. Even Tab/s would be preferable to Tabby.
ETA: Someone below suggested Abi, which I really like!
Wow, Victoria matches really well with a lot of names, doesn't it? All of your combos are pretty nice.
Favorite: Victoria May. I almost went with Victoria June, because I adore June, but I think May gives the combo a lightness you don't get with June. Victoria isn't really a "heavy" name, but it sounds mature and stately, so May freshens it up.
Least favorite: Victoria Rosalie. It's just too many syllables and a bit too frilly.
