Salome
After hearing the name Salome I'm being to really like the sound of it. I do like the French form of Salomé but I know people would forget the accent over the E when writing it.And I like it pronounced Sah-lo-may.What do you think of the name Salome? Can anybody think of middle names that go well with Salome other than the usual filler names like Anne or Marie?
Edited to add pronunciation.

Salome is on my PNL. I never really thought about it before, but when I started seeing it come up occasionally here I took a liking to it. I pronounce it the way you do - which syllable do you put the emphasis on, though?

I like this name, but I do think one really has to earn the right to like it by watching Strauss's Salome. It's insaaaane. She's insaaaaane.I don't have my Salomé combos handy unfortunately. I might edit some in later.

I never liked it. All I can think of is "salami", even though they are not pronounced the same way.

It's pretty but I just don't think it's usable because of the Biblical Salome. Like Jezebel.

I like it for someone else but I wouldn't use it. I think I'd spell it Salomé but I'm not sure. Salome is uncommon and pretty but some people might have a negative image of it. Kind of like Delilah just less common.Salome Annabelle
Salome Louisa
Salome Rosemary
Salome Julietedited: how do you pronounce it? I say zah-lo-may or sah-lo-may (AY sounds more like a long eh). But this site gives a different pronunciation that I dislike, sounds like salami.
