My favourites Russian names all happen to be male. They are: Alexei, Falalei (also spelled as Falalej and Falaley), Nikodim and Trofim.
I don't really have a favourite female Russian name, since I think most of them don't really look very elegant. Irina is the only one that I like enough for me to mention here.
