Full (Female) Names for the Nickname, Scotty
Have just been sort of liking the idea of Scotty (or Scottie) as a nickname but can't for the life of me think of any full names it could be short for. Any ideas? and which spelling do you prefer?

Scotia would work.

I like the suggestion of Frances Scott, that Scott would be the middle name together with a feminime first name. That seems simple and straightforward. I prefer Scottie for a girl.

McKenzie. Or McKayla.Nasty, indeed deplorable, but it'd work if it had to.

Well, my immediate response was "Scottoline! ...wait...that's an author's last name." Lol. But I do like Lily's suggestion of Scholastica.

F. Scott Fitzgerald's daughter was Frances Scott "Scottie": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frances_Scott_FitzgeraldHmm. I'm not getting further than the mythology names Scáthach, Scota...

Scolastica ? I think it's ugly but it's the only one I can think of. Or maybe just Scott on a girl? Scotland? Scotlyn? Scotia? I have no idea. It's not a very good nickname for a girl, in my opinion. Scooter? Ascott? Ascot? Apricot? I think I prefer Scottie.Scolastica, Scholastica
Scotland
Scott
Scotlyn, Scotlynn
Scotia
Ascott, Ascot
Apricot
Scooter
Scarlet, Scarlett (seems a bit far fetched)just Scottie?
