Roman goddess trumps that association, which I don't think is that negative anyway. I agree that Liberty is definitely cheesy, but the street has so much meaning to me, and meaningfulness trumps cheesiness. Plus, Madison Ave was named after a person, James Madison, before Splash ever existed.
