Beckham (B)
I went to an early learning childhood center today for a project in one of my classes. There was a little boy named Beckham. I actually like it but wouldn't use it. WDYT?And where I work there was a little girl name Marabelle and one named Nora. I like both of those and would use them. WDYT?

I can't take Beckham seriously because of David Beckham - it's too trendy and celebrity for me. Nora is lovely and Marabelle is cute, although I wouldn't use it myself

Beckham: Did I Hear Harper?
The David and Victoria Beckham clan are a bit too deep in the public eye for it to be currently acceptable... it is basically naming your daughter Marilyn and not expecting it to be pieced to Monroe; or naming your son Elvis.
It also is not the most pleasing to the eye or ear, in my opinion.Marabelle is dripping in satin frills... definitely too much for my liking. Nora, on the other hand, has a subtle, classic elegance-- especially when used as a nickname for Eleanor (or something of relation.)- Francesca

I'd be inclined to leave Beckham as a surname. Sounds too much like an obsessive fan (soccer/football) named the kid for my liking... though it's more pleasant than some possibilities, I suppose.
Nora's nms, but ok on someone else, I suppose. I don't tend to be inclined to use Mara names because of the bitterness meaning... The only reason Marika works for me is because I take it from Jpns. (thus taking meanings from whatever kanji is chosen) rather than from western languages.
