Monroe

I like it! I once named a puppy at a shelter I was volunteering at "Monroe" because she was such a beautiful diva. I was 16 and I thought a dog named Monroe was way cooler than a dog named Marilyn. Now you'd better believe that dog would be MARILYN. How awesome.
ANYWAYS as far as bombshell names go, I like Monroe more than Harlow. I just like how it looks. I enjoy how it sounds. And I think it's equally cool on a male or female. I can't choose!

I just can't tolerate this as a girls name. I just can't. It sounds manly, and not just manly, but middle age, greasy tupee wearing manly. HM, makes me wonder if I knew someone named that! hahaha!!
As far as really using it, I thik you would be fine in doing so. Now that Mariah Carey has named her daughter Monroe, it's possible that many others will do similarly and it will be a girls name all together after awhile.

I think it's okay on a boy, just a surname name which is nms but it's not the worst.
I think it's in the same league as Chanel, Lexus, and Peaches on a girl, because on a girl, it appears to be inspired by Marilyn Monroe. I have a hard time imagining it as "just" a surname name, when it's used on a girl. Marilyn is too much of an icon, and not the sort of icon that I think is suitable to inspire naming.
