Georgina or Georgiana?
Which do you prefer? I like the nickname "Georgie" for a girl so this is why I am inquiring...middle name would be Marie after my mother Anne Marie.
Edit: I pronounce Georgiana as "Jor-jee-ah-nah"

I really like both names. However since my name is Jeana I personally would go with Georgiana
Georgina
Georgiana is just over-the-top froo-froo, in my opinion. Pretty much all the -ana names are. Georgina is lovely!

Both are beautiful names, but I prefer Georgina.
I much prefer Georgiana. It's been my top name for years now. I pronounce it jor-jee-ah-nah. Jor-jay-nuh doesn't make sense to me at all.
Georgina
Georgiana, but I prefer the Brits who pronounce it George-Ayne-ah.
I don't like Georgina.
I don't like Georgina.
Georgiana would be my choice of the two. That said, I'd probably prefer Georgia.
I like Georgina. Georgiana's a bit frilly for me, but it's okay, and Georgie is cute and fun.
I pronounce Georgiana the same way you do, and frankly I think 'jor-jay-na' is the daftest thing I've ever heard. :)

Ditto on the pronunciation of Georgiana. I pronounce it how it looks!
Georgina. I just think it sounds better.
Georgiana - however I pronounce this jor-JAY-nah.
Georgiana sort of has the Anne part in it, too, so it's doubly honoring! I prefer it anyway.

Absolutely!
Definitely.
I like both, but I'd choose Georgiana. So stately, and the fact that it is a Jane Austen name leads me to prefer it.
You know, the more I keep hearing the jor-JAY-na pronunciation, the more I like it. I will have to think on it some more.
I pronounce Georgiana as jor-JAY-na, and I dislike the pronunciation you're using. But either way I'd still prefer Georgina. I love the bright green and orange of it, and it's very upbeat and smart with a sense of humor. Plus you could use the nickname Nina, which give it bonus points for me. Although I think Georgie is cute. What about Georgia as a full name?
I prefer Georgina. It just sounds more smooth. Georgiana is too frilly for me.
