The only Darcy I know has just retired from his professorship of Labour Law. It was a tradition in his family for the girls to get M- names and the boys to get D- names, and he was I think the youngest brother.

I don't like it much for boys, but I find it comically inappropriate for girls. But no doubt it's better than Fitzwilliam.
