I don't care for it. It seems kind of low-rent, or hillbilly, to be a full name for a girl. (I also think it's low-rent and hillbilly for a boy when spelled Jessie.)

Most Jessicas I knew were equally at home using Jess, Jessie or Jessica. I much prefer Jessica.
