It's fun to say. Kind of like Jennifer. I love saying Jennifer and Stephanie. Probably because of the F sounds. That's why I like them without nicknames (no Jen or Steph).
Apart from that it's dated and has been popular for way too long. I know many who were born in the 80s. So I think it needs a good rest. Would make a nice middle name, though.
