Over the top is true! But I'd argue that that doesn't mean it's a bad thing. Some people love being over-the-top. Personally, I'd prefer to level out something intense like Archimedes with something more mellow. But that's just taste.
All in all, I'd say the Homer Sampson part is too close to Homer Simpson, but otherwise it's not too bad at all. I'd tweek it to Archimedes Sampson Lloyd.
