Berenice
Berenice (ber-ə-NIE-see) has become more appealing to me as of late. I also like Bernice (bər-NEES). I'm drawn to their old-fashioned charm, and I like the sound of both. I'd love to see them used more often.
WDYTO of these two names? What middle names would you pair with them?

I really LOVE Berenice and Bernice (prefer the latter) but only pronounced "ber-NEES." "ber-e-NIE-see" just sounds too Greek or something, to me - I keep being reminded of Dionysus
Bernice was one of my top 5 favorite names in high school and I still adore it. I personally think Bennie is a really cool NN :)
Hmmm, MNs are sort of tough here. I'd pair it with something a little more "youthful"
Bernice Ivy
Bernice Hannah
Bernice Lillia
Bernice Hadley
Bernice Tegwen
Bernice Katya
Bernice Alix
Bernice Tabitha
Bernice Verity
Bernice Ilana
Bernice Dahlia
Bernice Ella

I love Berenice pronounced "beh-reh-NEE-theh" (which is how it's pronounced where I live). I have the combo Flora Berenice on my list. Bernice was my grandmother's middle name and while I don't care for that, I have come to like Berenice a lot.
