Berenice
Berenice (ber-ə-NIE-see) has become more appealing to me as of late. I also like Bernice (bər-NEES). I'm drawn to their old-fashioned charm, and I like the sound of both. I'd love to see them used more often.WDYTO of these two names? What middle names would you pair with them?

I really LOVE Berenice and Bernice (prefer the latter) but only pronounced "ber-NEES." "ber-e-NIE-see" just sounds too Greek or something, to me - I keep being reminded of DionysusBernice was one of my top 5 favorite names in high school and I still adore it. I personally think Bennie is a really cool NN :)Hmmm, MNs are sort of tough here. I'd pair it with something a little more "youthful"Bernice Ivy
Bernice Hannah
Bernice Lillia
Bernice Hadley
Bernice Tegwen
Bernice Katya
Bernice Alix
Bernice Tabitha
Bernice Verity
Bernice Ilana
Bernice Dahlia
Bernice Ella

Ooh...I like Bernice Ivy and Bernice Dahlia quite a bit. Bernice Verity and Bernice Tabitha are great as well.

I love Berenice pronounced "beh-reh-NEE-theh" (which is how it's pronounced where I live). I have the combo Flora Berenice on my list. Bernice was my grandmother's middle name and while I don't care for that, I have come to like Berenice a lot.

I like Bernice, but I don't like Berenice pronounced that way. I tend to want to pronounce it ber-uh-NEES.
