I know people with the last name Astor, I prefer it to Esther but would probably spell it Aster (I like the plant connection), I dont care much for either of these names but I like Asterie alright and Aster works as a nn for it.

I could see people mistaking Astor for Esther since its very similar. I cant really imagine Astor on a person but I picture Esther as middle aged
