Re: Cormac
I love Cormac! I used to avoid it because of the meaning, but since I realized I wouldn't actually name a son Cormac I let myself love it. :) I'm not a fan of Piper on anyone, unless it has some sort of significance like it would for you. So Cormac Piper would be fine with me.Hmm, somehow I don't really have many Cormac combos. Just Cormac Timothy and Cormac Daniel, neither of which I made myself. I'd pair it with strong, classic sort of stuff like that, though. Cormac Anthony, Cormac Joseph, Cormac Richard, stuff like that.

Do you think the meaning is a problem? I feel like most people don't actually know the meaning of names these days. Still, I don't want to make things difficult.

DependsFor other people who would have no idea, it's not a problem. Even if they found out I don't think it would be a problem. It's only an issue if meaning is important to you. I want my children's names to have meanings that I think are important or significant, and the meaning of Cormac wouldn't qualify. Unless someone could ever explain to me how it could have some positive significance. :)
