Dayspring
It was in a song at church today, an Advent one, "Oh Come Emmanuel".And it seemed to me that it would make a good middle name, perhaps. Not one I'd use, certainly, but maybe in a story?

I love it as a middle name. I like the idea of pairing it with something short but snappy up front - Ivy, Iris, Eve, Vera, Nora, Merit, Vivian.

Oh yes, a great middle name!! Don't know about first, but total middle name greatness!!

Works as a card company, but not as a personal name.

Hm, interesting. Boy or girl? As a middle name, it wouldn't be awful for either one. I find it very fresh. Personally, though if I think about that song, it just makes me want to use Emmanuel as a middle name. I'd love it if my husband let me do that! The meaning is just fantastic.

I can definitely see it as a name (or at least an alias) in a book or story. It could even be the name of a place or event of some sort... I can also see it as a human or an animal (like one that can communicate with humans telepathically or something...)
Would it be a middle name for a boy or a girl? At first I was thinking girl, but I could see it as a boy too. Especially the unlikely alias of a fantasy crimefighter or something :P
For girls I can see it with first names like Summer Dayspring, Lina Dayspring, Paulina Dayspring, Rose Dayspring, Eliza Dayspring, even Megan Dayspring...
It could also be a good surname.
