Gilda
What do you think of Gilda? I think it may come across as a bit dated sounding, but is it too much so? I think it has a lot of potential. What would you suggest for a middle? I'm think I'd like something that's either a bit glamorous or creates a contrast to the seemingly dated image - Gilda Lorelei sounds pretty to me. I kind of like Gilda Halcyon, but I think it's too much - 'gilded age' and 'halcyon days'. Gilda Juliet? Gilda Violet? Gilda Mariel?Opinions of Gilda?

I like it. I have no idea what middle name I would put with it. My mom's teaching assistant has a sister named Gilda. They were born in Italy. :-) It certainly is a name that you don't often hear.

Eh, too dated sounding to me. Plus as you mentioned it makes me think of "gilded" and "guilds"Gilda Mariel is the best combo choice imo

I guess because I work in healthcare, it make me think of Gilda's Club. (it's a support place for cancer patient's & thier families )Before that though, Gilda reminded me of "gild the lily"

Gilda is a hoot. Just a hoot. I guess it's sort of dated, but its quirkiness exempts it from the usual effects of datedness, I think. It has such a spark of outrageous magic to it. Oh it delights me so. It's so... LOUD. And so unapologetic.I very much like Gilda Halcyon. That is a really neat image. I also like Gilda Juliet because I like how the more retiring and gentle Juliet looks next to the electric Gilda. Hmm if I were to use Gilda, what would I pair it with....maybe...Gilda Zoe
Gilda Lise
Gilda Lucille
Gilda Phoebe
Gilda Cleo
Gilda Felicity
Gilda Penelope
Gilda Merab
Gilda Odette (oh this sounds like the stagename of a showgirl from the Moulin Rouge in the 30's)
Gilda Polly
Gilda Posy
Gilda Perchance-to-Dream ok now I'm channeling beethoven and Akua Topaz
