I say JESS-uh-min (rhyme with sin). For this reason I like to spell it Jessamyn, so that the pronounciation is more obvious.
My impression of Jasmine is of Jazz music so I think Jasmine is a kind of funky and strong name. Jessamine is softer and makes me think of flowers.
