Victoria! There was a Victor on both sides of our family trees, and I knew a Veronica once who had endless difficulty stopping people from calling her Ronnie or Vera or Nick, none of which she enjoyed one bit. Victoria definitely leads in the nn race.

Speaking strictly for myself, I think Veronica has one of the silliest origing/etymologies possible. If you don't think about sweaty textiles, it doesn't sound too bad at all, but it's inconveniently long and the short forms aren't pleasant.
