I like it, and I'd like to see it reclaimed from the allergy pills. It may be too late for that, though.

I think it's pretty and feminine. I wouldn't use it myself, as it's a little too modern sounding, but I do like it. Ally is a cute nickname posibility.

I really like it. I would use it in real life. Until I posted about it here a long time ago, I had never heard of the allergy med by the same name. It is not available in my country, so not even on my radar as a concern.

I like it, though it's not a favorite.

I admit I instantly think of the allergy medication and its annoying advertising. However, I don't think that ruins Allegra as a name, since it has a well-known meaning and the similarity to "allergy" is really superficial. I think it's a decent name. I'm not a fan of the LEG sound that is stressed in Allegra, though, nor of the GRR sound in it.

Ruined by the allergy medication :/

I like. It is one of my favorite musical names, along with Melody.

I know a girl named Allegra, so the name makes me think of her. She's really sweet and likes dancing, writing and wearing camouflage.

I *thought* it sounded vaguely pharmaceutical. Dang. Would be pretty otherwise.

My thought exactly.

ditto.
Always liked the name but it's too allergy related now for me to ever use personally.

Sadly, this is my thought too.It would help if Allegra did not have a marketing campaign to promote it.
