My cousin just had a baby and she named her Matylda - what do you think of the name? The cousin lives in Ireland but she's Polish, hence the spelling.

I'm not really sure, but it could grow on me, similar to the name of my cousin is called Mettilda, but everyone calls her Metti :)

Have never really liked it... always makes me think of the song "Waltzing Matilda".

I like Matilda, it's sweet... though i'm glad you explained about the polish spelling because i was about to jump all over that!
