I don't think that is the right way to go with her...

I really must protest. I'm growing rather weary of all of these tawdry British-sounding short and diminutive names to which many people are gravitating. I don't mind hearing Annie as a given name, for example, but please pair it with something more profound (Annie Keturah, Annie Matilda). Something short like Freya Joy, or Freya Lou ruins it for me, and I actually like Freya. Freya needs a substantial partner...like:
Freya Magdalene
Freya Margaret
Freya Louisa
Freya Geneviève
Freya Guinevere
Freya Josephine
Freya Caroline
Freya Charlotte
Freya Dorothea
Freya Elizabeth
Freya Susannah
Freya Theodora
It just gives it so much more depth.

I agree with you in theory, and some of the combos you have there are lovely. However I think if the last name is very long and double-barrelled, then it might be too much to have a really long and complex middle name like those.
Also I don't really think Freya is diminutive...

Well, for a start, we are British.
We really don't want a long Georgette Heyerish mouthful of a name. I can appreciate them aesthetically, but our surnames are already long and life contains a lot of forms to fill in. We want something pretty and balanced and sound but not so elaborate that it's wearying.
