It's handsome and unusual and interesting on a boy.
On a girl, it just looks a bit... dim. Sorry.

From your use of the Aubree and Aubrie spellings, I take it you are considering it for a girl. I can't follow you there. It's all boy where I live. Weirdly, I once taught a Kim whose school nickname was Aubrey; he accepted it happily enough.

I only like Aubrey for a boy and only this spelling.

I absolutely adore it for a boy only. It's within my top three for boys. I really dislike that it's being used on girls now, and I would guess by your spelling options that you are thinking about it as a girls' name. I would still go with the original spelling either way.

For which sex? I love Aubrey, but only on a boy. With so many other choices for a girl it makes me sad to see this name change gender. And I would only spell it Aubrey, either way.

I've always liked Aubrey. It's Audrey's elf-like sister.

I only like Aubrey for a boy, and the original spelling is best.

I think it's okay for a girl, but I definitely prefer it as a male name. I'd stick with Aubrey. I don't mind Aubrie for a girl, though.I don't care for Aubree. It looks trendy and cutesy.

It's becoming common here. I know two in elementary school, and there's one in my nephew's class, too. I prefer Aubrey.
