For a boy, I think I'd either go with John, for John Winston Lennon, or Clark, for William Clark Gable.

For a girl, maybe Jean, for Norma Jeane Baker (Marilyn Monroe), or Charlotte, for Charlotte Brontë.

I'd name my daughter either Thora after Thora Birch or Vivien after Vivien Leigh. I would probably name a boy Clark after Clark Gable.

For a girl, I think I'd pick an inspirational figure from the sciences or technology, maybe Ada Lovelace, Marie Curie, Gertrude Belle Elion, Virginia Apgar, or Hypatia of Alexandria.

I always enjoyed the names of Anouk Aimée, Capucine, Greta Lovisa (Garbo), Guy Pierce (Pearce), Rupert Everett, and Cary Grant. I'd also totally name a kid Gene Wilder.
