I love Ivy. I once did this ridiculously complicated, semi-scientific analysis and concluded that Ivy was the perfect name for me, and it really was my top name for a while. I think it has the sweetness and quaintness of other botanicals, but it's so plucky at the same time. Some people are put off by "poison ivy" and IV treatment, but I think it's rising above those associations and is really on its way up. Probably way up. I'm glad; I've never met an Ivy, and I'd like to.

If I hadn't come to love Rose and Iris more, Ivy would still be near the top of my favorites. My favorite combo is Ivy Margaret.
