I had a teacher in high school whose first name was Ivy,and I can't get past that.Poor woman, she should have been retired, as she had the beginnings of Parkinson's disease, but perhaps it was more difficult to get sick leave in those days.
She was at that point a poor teacher, though not mean or malicious..just couldn't teach a bunch of 15-year-olds algebra.
