Jody on a boy
What do you think and what middle names would you go for?
Replies
It's ok, but I prefer it on a girl.
mns for boy Jody... Let's see... Something obviously masc. would be best... to avoid confusion... Depends on the feel you're going for, of course...
Mateo
Mattias
Tsubasa (ok... so it CAN be used on a girl, but it's usually a boys' name)
Benjamin
Raphael
Brent
Bryce
Blake
nmsaa, but Archibald could flow w/ it
Oliver

Jody Scheckter was a totally male racing driver here in South Africa, and since his son (in the same risky line of business) is called Joseph, I assume that he was named after his dad.
Which means that I'd go for Joseph, nn Jody (though I was at school with a Josephine who also went by Jody, so nothing proves anything) and put some out-there mn with it: Joseph Claud(e) would do nicely, or Joseph Mortimer. Depends on the ln.

What I think about this... Scheckter. The Formula One is strong with this one used on a boy. As a racing fan, it brings back wistful ideas of racing before energy drinks moved into racing.

I knew a guy named Jody so it doesnt sound unusual to me.
