I was just reading a Victorian diarist's bio, and his mother's name was Thermuthis, which seems to have been a family name; her mother was also a Thermuthis. Apparently in some versions of the Moses story, it's the name of the daughter of Pharaoh who rescues Moses. The internet also seems to think it might be the name of an Egyptian fertility goddess. Anyway! - another very unusual name for those who collect such things.
