If you could choose the name of the Danish prince?
.... what would you call him? Are you happy with Christian Valdemar Henri John?
In my opinion, I like it. I'm not sure about the Henri John bit, since that's a bit too rhyme-y for my liking.

I love it! Love Christian and it's great they kept with the tradition of the names of kings alternating between Frederik & Christian. Valdemar and Henri have been growing on me lately, I really like them now! As for John, not too fond of it. It's really nice though that both Grandfathers were honored.
I probably would've gone with Christian Henri Frederik Valdemar, but I do really love his name anyway!

I never like royal names. They are always far too long. They never flow. And they are always very straight-edged, though I know royals are expected to use such names and don't have much choice.
Christian Valdemar Henri John, in its favour, is more interesting than some :-)

Well I dislike the name Christian but I like the tradition behind it
Valdemar has a nice sound to it, Henri is a nice solid strong name and John okay overall its not a bad combo
If it were my son I would chose different names but for who he is and the tradition and family History behind it the names are great

I love the name. I confess that Valdemar isn't one of my favourite names, but overall, I think the Crown Prince and Princess picked a fine name: Christian, as per tradition, Valdemar, a name with historical ties, Henri, after his paternal grandfather (whose name became Henrik upon his marriage to the queen) and John, for his maternal granfather.
The only slight disconcertment I find with the name is that it's almost Prince Christian's cousin's name in reverse. Prince Felix's name is Felix Henrik Valdemar Christian. I might've mixed the combo up a little and gone with something along the lines of Christian John Henri Valdemar.
Nevertheless, I give the combo a thumbs up. :)

Christian John is ok, I would probably call him Steve coz that doesn't really sound like a Prince's name and I like to be different. :)
