Calixte
I just stumbled upon this name, its a French variation of Calista/Kallistos than means "the most beautiful" here is a link to listen to the pronunciation ("ca-leext" is my best description) http://www.forvo.com/word/calixte/Do you have a favorite name with an X? I happen to like Beatrix as well.

I prefer Calixta, since I associate it Kate Chopin and "The Storm." My favorite form of the name is Calista, though.X is such a plucky letter, isn't it? My favorite name with an X is probably Alexander/Alexandra, but I also love Beatrix, and I like Xavier, Xerxes, Xanthe, Maxwell, Felix, Dexter, Alix, and Xenia.

I never thought of that connection but I do think of her when I see Athenaise or Athenais.

Should probably note that this is a boys name but I would use it on a girl

Calixte is awesome! I like it better than Callista / Kallisto / etc. because it reminds me of Calix. :)

I really like Beatrix too - there's just something about the name.
I'm not sure why, but I'm also very fond of Alexis or Alexia.

Maxine. And I find Xavière so ugly that it's almost attractive in some way (but too linked to the wife of a former mayor of Paris, which is not a good connection at all).I've also seen Meritxell "mu-ree-CHEL" mentioned on this site, I like it.

I feel the same way about Xavière, there's something likable about it but then it's not that likable, I also think Xavi would be a good nickname for it but Im not sure how I feel about that name either. Im not a big fan of Maxine because there is a cartoon here named Maxine of a cranky old lady :( Meritxell is interesting!I also like the sound of (Marie)Sixtine and Quiterie/Quitterie too but they really wouldnt work in the US.

Ah these names are both some of my favourites! Very proper, aristocratic, goes to mass every sunday with her 10 siblings and wears a navy blue velvet headband. But I can understand why it wouldn't work. Too bad...Maxine makes me think about the character in Being John Malkovitch, there's something a bit cold, acid about it but I still like it.
