Gabrielle
Gabrielle is smooth and elegant, while I find Gabriella too fussy and frilly. It always surprises me what a difference a letter or two can make in the feel of a name. If Gabrielle is silk, Gabriella is lace. Gabrielle is a svelte little black dress, Gabriella is a pink prom dress. Gabrielle is tiramisu, Gabriella is a cupcake with too much frosting. Gabrielle sounds like an adult to me. Gabriella is young, very young. Overall, other than Nicola and Daniela, I prefer the -le ending over -la or -lla.
