Columba?
What do you think of it, and would you use it on a boy or a girl? I came across it a few months ago, and immediatly asumed it was a girl's name, though now I know it is used for both. I think it's pretty, but I'm not sure I'd evr use it. Thoughts?

I'm not liking Columba, but I do really like Columbine and Coloma. I feel like Columba's ending is heavy, where Columbine and Coloma are lighter in feel, which I prefer.
It's nice, but I prefer Colombe, Columbia, and Columbine (obviously though, Columbine is completely unusable.) I always think of Columba as a girl's name, even though I know it's unisex.
Nms. The umb sound is really heavy and unpleasant to me.
I adore Columba for either gender. It's one of the few unisex names that I do love.
Columba makes me think of doves, peace, monastic monks and I just love the sound of it. It's so unexpected.
Columba Ines for a girl. I don't have a stock combination for a boy, perhaps Columba Francis, Columba Finlay, Columba Muir?

I like it. I like it for a girl or a boy, although it seems likt it would be more "traditional" to use it on a boy. I don't think I'd use it though-- too reminiscent of Columbus.
