Well, I love L.M. Montgomery's books, and I adore her character names. I've often thought that I should go through every book and write a list of the names. Actually, the other day, I did grab one of her books and just skimmed the pages for names. That said, I don't think Avonlea is a good name choice. It's a fictional placename, so the only connection is with the Anne books. I'd recommend looking deeper in her books for one of her great character names.
